It all began in 2018, while I was in the thick of of postpartum. I discovered a new hobby of making hair ties – not the typical black, but colourful arm candies to make sure that these would not be easily misplaced. I was eventually drawn to its usefulness for a busy, always-wearing-a-messy-bun mother like me, not to mention the vibrant colours that uplifted my mood. I made more and more everyday, hence the beginning of this creative journey.

I started selling to friends and packing the hair ties on cards with messages of encouragement, self-love, and appreciation. It became a great gift idea – a basic accessory with pops of colour and positivity. As I transitioned into gifting and personalisation, I was inspired to curate more products that are not just for everyday use, but give meaning to others as well.
